The Shoot Out Project

Last term, several students from Weobley High School attended five filmmaking workshops with 'The Rural Media Company'. Their brief was to make a short film about a community activity. The students decided to link up with the 'Weobley Walkers' who are keen to promote their group in the community. Having spent some time honing their technical skills with Rural Media, the students spent a Saturday morning with the walkers, capturing useful footage for the film. Now edited and available, this DVD can be used by the group for promotional purposes.

Weobley Students Enter the World of Work

Our new Year 11 were excellent ambassadors for the school on their week of work experience (June 6th- June 10th). They chose a variety of work placements across the county and beyond, from farming, architecture, engineering, retail, child care, veterinary and so much more. They gained skills of confidence, patience, team work, communication among others and we had nothing but positive reports back from the employers.
