Religious Education Key Stage 3
In years 7 – 9 students will follow a scheme of work taken from the Herefordshire Agreed Syllabus for Religious Education. Students are encouraged to develop empathy and understanding of different cultures and beliefs, they will use evaluation and analytical skills throughout the key stage. Religious Education Key Stage 4
In years 10 – 11 students will follow either the full course AQA GCSE Syllabus for Religious Studies or the short course AQA GCSE. Students will use a virtual learning environment developed for this subject. It can be located at http://redepartment.co.uk and is accessible from both school and anywhere outside school with an internet connection. Some of the GCSE topics include:
